someone should make a Commodore 512k with the arrows keys like in the modern day keyboards and have most of 128 chips in one chip

It’s not likely going to happen. Between the Mega 64 and th Commander X16, we have two machines that are far superior to the 128 already.

There are a lot of C128 fans who would love to see an FPGA 128, similar to the Ultimate 64, but not enough to get someone to build a system like that commercially. We will have to make do with VICE on emulated systems.

Just plug in a REU.

Or what I did on a flat 128 years ago looking at a transactor magazine. installed that RAM in it. That is how I saved the real Q-link Date with Super Snap shot helping. I save one byte it got in from the modem to the RAM.

The Ultimate 2 cartage can add a 16MB RUE.

So it's been done.
