Hi there, I'm searching on Internet and Youtube for Assembler game programming tutorials for MS-DOS but I didn't find something usefull just to learn basics of it.

I saw the video on Planet X3 from The 8-Bit Guy and he said that he has a book.

Can someone share with me really usefull guides/tutorials?

Thanks!

Heh. I used to have an assembly language programming textbook for DOS (well, for 8086/8088). Of course, it's gone now, but I might be able to dig something up.

Some things you want:

I'll try to fill this list out as I find things.

You might also track down a copy of Borland Turbo C++ for DOS (version 2). A quick Google search should turn up some referencs. While it's not an assembler, TC does do inline assembly, and I've found that mixed C/asm code is much faster to write than trying to do everything in all assembler.
