I was just recommended this video on YouTube, and it seems quite awesome, so I thought I'd share it with you guys. It is about creating plastic replacement parts with super glue and baking soda. I hope some of you can use it!

I successfully used this to fix 2 very delicate plastic parts on an Atari 800. I "practiced" on something else first but I was very impressed with my results:
It's certainly not pretty but it was on the inside of the case so it's not visible after re-assembling the computer. This is the latch release for the cartridge door and those 2 posts holding the piece of metal in broke off. Super glue alone didn't help as the posts just kept breaking off. I did have to do some filing to ensure everything fit into place.
