When Rertobriting doesn't come out right

I am refurbishing a Super Famicom controller. I retrobrited the shell. This was the first time I did it. I used 3% peroxide in a ziplock bag for four hours. I thought that it worked great. Later, I did the same for original Nintendo controllers, but for all day. When I compared them to the SFC controller, I decided to do it again to the SFC controller. They floated to the top and made contact with the bag, with rotten results. I tried again securing them to the bottom of the bag. Again, it didn't work. (Pictures below) My question is: Is there a point where the streaks will match? I have some 40 volume cream, but will it even out?

Thanks.
